The Siberian sturgeon caviar is a top-class delicacy. Its soft and shiny fish eggs have a fine sea aroma and delicious taste with a light hint of the dried fruit. A peculiarity of the delicate shiny caviar is a pleasant translucency. A color will vary in different shades from dark gray, medium gray to light brown tones. This type of sturgeon has been successfully bred for several decades. The natural habitat of the Siberian sturgeon is the numerous rivers of Trans Urals. And from there, comes the name “malossol” which means “low salt”.
Sturgeon caviar comes from carefully selected farms in Poland, Hungary, Germany and China. We have thoroughly tested these farms and they are subject to the strictest controls on an ongoing basis. We have deliberately chosen them because they consistently guarantee the highest product quality and adhere to strict guidelines on animal and environmental protection. They also attach importance to responsible and fair treatment along the entire production chain.
As sturgeon caviar is a purely natural product, production quantities cannot be scaled at will. The natural growth of the sturgeons sets clear limits. In order to ensure a reliable supply at all times, we source our caviar from several breeders. This enables us to always be able to offer our customers first-class sturgeon caviar, even in times of particularly high demand, such as at Christmas or Easter.
Sturgeon caviar is a highly sensitive product; light and oxygen destroys its quality for several hours. It should not be stored for a long time after opening.
The shelf life of a closed jar at a temperature from -3° to +3°C is about 4 months.
